Christmas Programs are Hilarious!

Okay so I cannot get away without commenting about the greatness that are/is Christmas Programs. Be they at church, school, etc. it's ALWAYS a fun time. Leelah's Turtle class was the first out of the gate, possibly because they are the youngest, and they "sang" 2 songs: Bells are Ringing (never heard of it?) and Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. They also sang "We wish you a merry Christmas" as the entire 3 yr olds classes group. See below post "The most wonderful time of the year" for pics.

We weren't even 30 sec into her class performance when a boy started picking his nose whilst he was going up on stage!?!?!?!!! We know that was bound to happen, but 30 seconds?!?! We knew right there- we were golden. I laughed the entire time. Not at the kids or my kid but at how stinkin' cute and funny it was.
There are many comedic components to what makes those shows so funny:
The kids who just stared.
The lip suckers and funny facers (Leelah).
The smiler and wavers (Rebecca).
The kid who can't take the pressure and runs off the stage to mom and dad.
The breakdancin' kid who watches himself on the screen.
The kids who face backwards the entire time.
The talkers.
The lookdownatthefloor and swayers.
The perfect blonde girl who sings the entire song with all the correct words- there's always that girl in each class. Future full scholarship kid.
The pair routine (Asher & Avah) or the "Sonny & Cher" who just goofs off with each other for comedic effect- hilarious!
And my personal favorite the little boy who pulls his pants up the entire time almost to his armpits. I died!!!
Don't you just love kids!?!?!! So great.

Soooo funny! Carly's is next week and I am envisiong her either being the kid who just stares, or who can't take the pressure and runs to Mommy :) We shall see...good times regardless. Tis the season!

Can't wait to see which ones Riley and Will will be this year. Will is a shepherd with one line and Riley is an angel who just has to stand there. We'll see.....
